3. The requirements of ASTM E2952-23 specify an air-purifying respiratory protective escape device, laboratory-tested with a service life of 15 minutes, designed to protect the head, eyes, and respiratory system from particulates, irritants, and toxic gases and vapors typically produced by fire.
