What is the EN 71 standard for toys?

Views :
Update time : 2024-12-16

EN 71 is the regULatory standard for toy products in the European Union market. Many countries have established their own safety regulations for these products, and manufacturers must ensure their products meet the relevant standards before they can be sold in the region. Manufacturers are responsible for accidents caused by production defects, poor design, or the use of inappropriate materials. This led to the introduction of the EN 71 certification decree in Europe, which aims to REDuce or avoid injuries to children by setting technical specifications for toys entering the European market according to the EN 71 standard.
