Amazon BBQ Grill ASTM F3363-19 Testing Standard

A BBQ grill is a device used for barbecuing food such as lamb skewers, meat, and vegetables. It generally consists of a base or bowl, typically made of ceramic or other heat-resistant materials. It can also be referred to as a portable fire bowl, portable fireplace, fire pit, fire bowl, patio fireplace, flame bowl, flame lamp, or tabletop fire pit. All portable fire pits must undergo testing and comply with the astm f3363-19 Standard Specification for Unvented Portable Devices Burning Liquid or Gel Fuels.

- A list of all portable fire pits you have listed

- Images of all portable fire pits and their packaging (if applicable): Images must show all sides of the product and packaging for review

- Product images or test reports demonstrating compliance with instruction manual requirements (ASTM F3363-19 Section 6.1.9)

- Test reports issued by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory confirming that each product has been tested and complies with the applicable requirements.

 

ASTM F3363-19 Certification Process for Portable Fire Pits

1. Complete the ASTM F3363-19 application form.

2. Sign the contract.

3. Send product samples.

4. Arrange payment.

5. Laboratory initiates testing.

6. Receive draft test report.

7. Receive the final test report.

 

To list a portable fire pit on Amazon, you must provide an ASTM F3363-19 test report demonstrating that the product meets the relevant North American safety standards. According to Amazon's policy, all portable fire pits must be tested and comply with the ASTM F3363-19 Standard Specification for Unvented Portable Devices Burning Liquid or Gel Fuels.

 

For refillable alcohol-based fuel containers, compliance with ASTM F3429/F3429M-20 (Standard Specification for Performance of Flame Mitigation Devices Installed in Disposable and Pre-Filled Flammable Liquid Containers) or equivalent standards is required. Portable fire pits using pourable fuels must adhere to ASTM F3363-19 (Standard Specification for Unvented Portable Devices Burning Odorless Liquid/Gel Fuels) or equivalent standards.
