Update time : 2025-09-11

Good news! Recently, after a strict evaluation by Amazon, our company has been successfULly listed as a TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Direct Verification (DV) auditing institution for the toy category!

This means we can provide professional and efficient "Direct Verification" (DV) services for sellers of toy products on the Amazon platform, helping them achieve compliance, accelerate product listings, and support global sales.

Background

Amazon previously announced: starting from September, it will mandate compliance through Direct Verification (DV).

Failure to complete verification on time may result in your Listing being directly removed.

TIC Direct Verification Institution List

1. What is “Direct Verification”?

Traditionally, compliance reviews mostly adopted Indirect Verification: sellers uploaded test reports/certificates themselves, and the platform manually or systeMICally checked.

Direct Verification (DV), however, means that Amazon-designated TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) laboratories upload test reports/certification results directly into the Amazon system. Sellers can no longer "self-certify."

Key Features:

- Certain product categories mustgo through DV.

- Results are submitted to Amazon directly by TIC.

- Sellers no longer need to upload documents or provide their own test reports—the compliance information is transmitted straight to Amazon.

Comparison:

- Traditional Verification: Seller uploads documents → Amazon reviews.

- Direct Verification: Laboratory connects directly to Amazon → results are more authoritative and transparent.

2. Scope of Application

If you sell children’s toy products in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or 8 EU countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium), you must complete compliance through Direct Verification (DV).

-Verification Passed:If results meet Amazon policy, the product will automatically qualify for sale on the relevant site, without further action needed.

-Verification Failed:If verification is not started, not completed, or results do not meet policy requirements, your product listing may be removed.

3. How to Check

Starting from September, Amazon will gradually notify affected sellers.

You can check for affected products under:

Account Health > Policy Compliance > Food and Product Safety Issues.

Please pay close attention to Amazon notifications and any updates on this compliance page.

In the meantime, you may also proactively contact Amazon-recognized TICs for consultation.

BCTC is an Amazon-approved TIC Direct Verification institution.

4. How to Complete Compliance via Direct Verification

Step 1: Locate ASINs Requiring Verification

Path: Account Health > Policy Compliance > Food and Product Safety Issues.

Find the ASINs requiring action, click Submiton the right-hand side.

You will see two options: Verify Your Productor Appeal.

Choose Verify Your Product.

Step 2: Select a Compliance Service Provider

You can directly select a service provider and filter by country/region.

Step 3: Submit TRF (Test Request Form)

After selecting a service provider, click Continueto proceed.

- Fill in and confirm your primary contact information.

- Submit the TRF. The service provider will then handle testing/verification and directly upload results into the Amazon system.

Important Notes:

- Sellers do notupload reports themselves—reports are transmitted directly by the service provider.

- Information must be accurate, especially contact details, as errors may delay the verification process.
