Amazon US Site Electric Fan UL507 Certification

As summer 2026 approaches, merchants engaged in summer cooling products such as electric fans and air conditioners are advised to complete the compliance process as soon as possible, so that products can be pre-sold on Amazon early to secure larger order volumes.

As early as September 24, 2017, the relevant U.S. authorities issued a special law for e-commerce, requiring Amazon to obligatedly notify overseas merchants selling on the Amazon platform to provide relevant safety regULation reports. Before submitting the test reports meeting UL standards, Amazon must order merchants to suspend sales.

In addition, the United States requires that test reports must be qualified reports issued by laboratories accREDited with the ISO17025/ILAC ISO 17025 standard.

Applicable Product Scope of UL507 Standard for Electric Fans:

a) Fans and blowers for circulating air, such as table fans, ceiling fans and hanging fans;

b) Fans and blowers for ventilation, such as attic fans, wall-mounted fans, ceiling insert fans, household range hoods, canopy-type fans and window fans;

c) Dryer-type fans used for drying carpets or floors;

d) Evaporative coolers;

e) Air filtration equipment;

f) Fan-type deodorizers and air fresheners;

g) Component fans;

h) Low-voltage component fans.
