According to the U.S. federal regulation 29 CFR Part 1910.136, employers are required to ensure personal safety for employees. It mandates that in the following workplace conditions, employees must wear safety footwear that meets ASTM F2413 requirements:

- Risk of injury from falling objects

- Risk of sole puncture

- Risk of electric shock

Additionally, ASTM F2413 is one of the key standards referenced by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

ASTM F2413 specifies the minimum performance requirements for protective footwear, focusing mainly on the following protection types:

- Impact resistance (I): Protection at the toe area against falling objects

- Compression resistance (C): Protection at the toe area against compression forces

- Metatarsal protection (Mt): Reduces the risk of injuries to the metatarsal bones of the foot

- Conductive protection (Cd): Prevents hazards from static electricity buildup and sparks

- Electrical hazard protection (EH): Reduces the risk of electric shock from contact with live electrical circuits

- Static dissipative protection (SD): Reduces dangers caused by accumulation of static electricity

- Puncture resistance (PR): Protects the insole area against puncture hazards

- Slip resistance (SR or SRO): Helps prevent slips and falls

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory minimum requirements under ASTM F2413 for safety footwear.

China JJR Laboratory brings numerous benefits to manufacturers, importers, and retailers of safety footwear and soft toe protective footwear for the U.S. market, including:

- Ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory requirements, reducing compliance risks

- Enhancing product quality and safety, boosting market competitiveness

- Providing more comprehensive and in-depth technical support, accelerating product innovation

- Optimizing quality management processes, improving production efficiency
