1. Introduction to Canadian ised Certification

Canada ISED certification, since 2016, IC has been officially renamed Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to be responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. The original wireless device ic certification Number has been renamed ISED Certification Number, but its presentation on the label remains unchanged, still IC: XXXXX-YYYYYYYYY.
