When listing children's products on Amazon US, such as toys, baby products, and similar items, sellers are required to provide a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC). Failure to comply may result in product removal, payment holds, or even lawsuits.

Common CPC Certification Requirements on Amazon(图1)

What is CPC Certification?

CPC stands for Children's Product Certificate, applicable to all products primarily designed for children aged 12 and under. This includes toys, cradles, children's clothing, and more.

- If the product is manufactured in the US, the manufacturer must provide the certificate.

- If the product is manufactured in another country, the importer must provide it.

For cross-border sellers acting as "importers," a CPC certificate must be provided to Amazon, acting as the retailer/distributor, when selling products manufactured in China to the US market.

Without CPC certification, shipments subjected to customs inspections may be deemed non-compliant and detained. Moreover, CPC certification is mandatory to list children's products on Amazon US.
