What is SURGE emc testing?

Surge (SURGE) emc testing is an essential method to evaluate the immunity of electronic devices against sudden voltage spikes. It simULates real-world disturbances such as power failures and lightning strikes, assessing the device’s performance under harsh electromagnetic environments. For instance, it checks whether a device can continue operating normally after a lightning strike.

What is EOS Testing?

EOS stands for Electrical Over Stress, which refers to conditions where external current or voltage exceeds the maximum rated tolerance of a component. This may result in performance degradation or permanent damage to the device.
