EU GPSR Compliance Testing

Views :
Update time : 2025-04-02

The EU RegULation 2023/988 on General Product Safety (gpsr) was officially enforced on December 13, 2024, replacing the former General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) and Directive 87/357/EEC on Dangerous Products with Similar Characteristics to Foodstuffs. This regulation applies to all non-food consumer products placed on or sold within the EU market, including toys, baby products, kitchenware, furniture, and other items. It is crucial for products entering the EU market to meet the GPSR regulation requirements. China JJR Laboratory offers GPSR testing and risk assessment services for your products.

Service Background

According to GPSR requirements, all products sold to EU consumers must provide the postal address and email address of the EU manufacturer or importer (or the authorized representative of a non-EU company in the EU), along with any warnings and safety information. Particularly, for products sold remotely or online, the manufacturer's information and the "responsible party" within the EU must be clearly indicated. Additionally, the regulation requires manufacturers to perform risk analysis of products, considering risks from new technologies, updating technical documentation, and keeping it for at least 10 years. We provide GPSR-based risk assessment services for various products. Our services ensure comprehensive and professional risk evaluations.

We offer GPSR-based risk assessment services for various types of products, including:
