Laboratory Overview

The Restricted Substances Testing Laboratory is a specialized cheMICal analysis and testing facility, accREDited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), and has become a contracted testing laboratory for the certification of toxic and harmfUL substances by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). The laboratory is located in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, equipped with imported high-precision instruments, and staffed with a highly educated, skilled, and efficient professional testing team. The laboratory offers a comprehensive range of testing capabilities.

Scope of Services

1. Tested Products

- Electronic and Electrical Products: Household appliances, information technology and telecommunication equipment, consumer electronics, lighting devices, electronic and power tools, vending machines, leisure and sports equipment, components, raw materials, etc.

- Other Products: Rubber, plastic, packaging materials, etc.

 

2. Testing and Analytical Capabilities:

- ROHS certification testing and daily commissioned testing for electronic and electrical products, including whole products, components, parts, and raw materials.

- Phthalates (plasticizers, PAEs) testing in electronic and electrical products.

- RoHS and phthalates (plasticizers, PAEs) testing in environmentally certified products.

- Testing for other restricted substances, such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), etc.

 

Main ROHS Testing Instruments and Equipment:

- PerkinElmer (USA): Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer

- Agilent (USA): Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry System

- Dionex (USA): Ion Chromatograph

- Gerber (Germany): Fully Automatic Soxhlet Extraction System

- Zhuoshuiyue: Ultra-pure Water System, etc.

 

Value-added Services

Service Scope:

- Testing of restricted substances in whole electronic and electrical products, components, parts, and raw materials.

- Testing and technical consulting for substances under the RoHS, WEEE, and REACH directives.

- Testing of restricted substances in textiles, rubber, plastics, packaging materials, etc.

- Third-party evaluation of raw materials or components used in electronic products.
