Mexico only recognizes NOM certification and does not accept certifications from other countries such as the US's UL or Canada's ETL. Points to Consider for Household Appliances Entering the Mexican Market

- Voltage: The local voltage in Mexico is 127V, 60Hz.

- Official Language: The official language in Mexico is Spanish.

- Plug Specifications: Mexican plugs are the same as American plugs, with two types: Class I with three connectors and Class II with two connectors. The plug and the device itself will be tested together.

- Validity Period: The validity period of the Mexican NOM certification is one year, and it can be renewed annually. During the renewal process, a product sample will be randomly selected from the market and sent to the laboratory for testing.
