IC establishes testing standards for analog and digital terminal equipment and mandates that wireless products sold in Canada must obtain ic certification. Therefore, IC certification(now referred to as ised certification, also known as ICES certification) is a necessary passport for electronic and electrical products—such as wireless mice and keyboards, remote-controlled toys, and various low-power wireless RF products—to enter the Canadian market.

Key Considerations for IC-ID Certification

1. A Canadian representative with a valid Canadian address is required.

IC Certification Process and Timeline

1. Submit samples, application form, and required documents
