2. Toy accessories: Components, attachments, materials, and other toy-related parts.

3. Sports and exercise equipment for children: Such as jump ropes, children's trampolines, etc.

4. Products used in children's entertainment: Including kids' swimming pools, floating beds, play tents, etc.

 

> Note:The CE Toy Directive does not apply to adult toys, such as playing cards, board games, or tabletop games designed and manufactured specifically for adults.

 

CE Toy Directive Testing Items

1. Physical/Mechanical Performance Tests: Including strength, wear resistance, pressure resistance, tensile strength, torsion resistance, etc., to ensure durability and safety.

2. Chemical Performance Tests: Includes testing for heavy metals, hazardous substances, plasticizers, solvent residues, etc., to ensure no harmful chemicals are present.

3. Thermal and Fire Tests: Includes flammability, spark, and thermal stability tests to ensure the toy can withstand high temperatures and fire risks during use.

4. Electrical Performance Tests: For electronic toys, includes testing for electric shock, battery durability, electronic component safety, electromagnetic compatibility, etc.

5. Cognitive and Behavioral Tests: Evaluates whether children can correctly understand and use the toy and whether the toy stimulates learning and imagination.

6. Labeling and Instruction Manual Tests: Checks whether labels and instructions are accurate, clear, and easy to understand, and whether required safety warnings are present.

 

Required Documents for CE Toy Directive

1. Product Samples: Toy samples must be provided for testing.

2. Technical Documentation: Including design drawings, specifications, material lists, production processes, etc.

3. Instruction Manual and Labels: Must be provided to ensure the product can be used safely and correctly.

 

CE Toy Certification Process

1. Select a Certification Body: Choose a qualified certification body based on the product characteristics and market needs.
