III. Testing Items and Regulatory Requirements

For RoHS Directive Categories 1-11, the following substances in homogeneous materials must not exceed the specified limits:

 

- Lead (Pb): 1,000 mg/kg

- Mercury (Hg): 1,000 mg/kg

- Hexavalent Chromium (Cr(VI)): 1,000 mg/kg

- Cadmium (Cd): 100 mg/kg

- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs): 1,000 mg/kg

- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs): 1,000 mg/kg0

- Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): 1,000 mg/kg

- Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): 1,000 mg/kg

- Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): 1,000 mg/kg

- Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): 1,000 mg/kg

 

Finished products under RoHS Directive Categories 1-11 include large household appliances, small household appliances, IT and telecommunications equipment, consumer equipment, lighting equipment, electrical tools, toys, recreational and sports equipment, medical devices, monitoring and control instruments, automatic dispensers, and other electronic/electrical equipment not covered by these categories.
