What is Saudi IECEE Certification?

In Saudi Arabia, IECEE Certification (also known as SIRC Certification) is a crucial step to ensure that imported products comply with international safety standards. Implemented by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), it aims to ensure product safety and compliance with WTO requirements.

IECEE Certification covers a wide range of electronic products, including but not limited to:

All products listed in the mandatory Saudi IECEE Certification directory require IECEE Certification. The type of certification can be determined by checking the customs code.

SASO has announced the following products under IECEE regULation:

1. Mobile phones

2. Mobile phone chargers

3. Mobile phone accessories such as earphones, smartwatches, etc.

4. Mobile phone batteries

5. Power banks

6. Water pumps

7. Dishwashers

8. Laptops, tablets, portable computers

9. Televisions, monitors

10. Car chargers, wireless chargers

11. Bluetooth speakers

12. Lighting products

Basic Information on IECEE Certification:

Required Documents & Process for Obtaining IECEE Certification:

Application Documents:

1. Business licenses of both manufacturer and importer

2. User manuals in Arabic and English

3. Nameplate

4. Customs code

5. CB Report and Certificate (valid within three years, must include Saudi national deviations)

6. Account credentials for jeem or maneh websites

7. Product photos

8. Application Forms: DOC documents from both the importer and the manufacturer

Application Process:

1. Submit the required documents to the designated Saudi IECEE application system to obtain the iecee certificate.

2. After obtaining the IECEE Certificate, you must also apply for PCoC and SCoC certificates in the SABER system.
