How to get UAE ECAS Certification?

Introduction to UAE ECAS

The UAE Emirates Conformity Assessment System (ECAS) is a product certification program implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) of the UAE. Products within the scope of ECAS registration must obtain certification, affix the ECAS mark, and apply for a conformity certificate before entering the UAE market.

Basic Information about ECAS Certification:

1. Certification Nature:Mandatory

2. Validity Period:1 year

3. Processing Time:4-5 weeks

4. Local Representative:RequiRED, must be a UAE-based company holding the certificate

1. UAE Importer’s Business License and ESMA account username & password

2. CB + ROHS Test reports

3. Authorization Letter

4. User Manual (in Arabic and English)

5. Labels (in Arabic and English)

6. RoHS Compliance Declaration

7. Product Photos

8. Packaging Photos

Important Notes:

1. Starting from March 15, 2025, all ECAS-LVE certified products shipped to the UAE must be updated to the latest ECAS logo.

2. For existing stock already in the UAE market, the new logo replacement is mandatory after September 15, 2025.
