Exporting power adapters to Thailand requires applying for tisi certification, and the corresponding standard is TIS 62368 Part 1-2563. Please note that this requirement only applies to power adapters that supply power to tablets and mobile phone products.
TISI certification requires sending samples directly to a laboratory in Thailand for testing. If you have a cb certificate or a report for the corresponding product, you can also provide it as a testing reference.
Certificate Holder Requirements: The holder of a TISI certificate must be a local company in Thailand. If you do not have a local importer, GTG can provide this service. Please note that one of the prerequisites for the certificate to remain valid is that the certificate holder's business license must be in a valid status.
Label Date Requirements: The TISI product certification label must display a specific date, and the date must be within 3 months prior to submitting the samples. The TISI LOGO and QR code can only be displayed on the label after the certification process is completed.
Factory Inspection Requirements: TISI certification requires a factory inspection, which is conducted once every 3 years.
Plug Pin Standards: The plug pins of the power adapter must also comply with Thailand's plug pin requirements.
Report Models: The TISI certification report will only display the models that were actually tested.
Power adapters can be applied for TISI certification as a series, but the specific models must be clearly defined. A single certificate can display a maximum of 15 models.
If you are applying for multiple certificates simultaneously and need them to be issued separately, they must be submitted separately—that is, the application for the next certificate should only be submitted after the previous certificate has been officially issued.
