fcc certification is a mandatory certification in the United States covering electromagnetic compatibility and radio frequency aspects. Many radio application products, communication products, and digital products are required to obtain fcc approval to enter the U.S. market. fcc certification is divided into two types, namely fcc sdoc (Supplier's Declaration of Conformity) and FCC Certification ID. Today, we will take you through a detailed understanding of FCC sdoc certification!

What Does FCC SDoC Certification Mean?(图1)

Introduction to fcc sdoc certification

SDoC stands for Supplier's Declaration of Conformity. The equipment supplier shall test the equipment to verify its compliance with specified standards or requirements. For compliant equipment, relevant documents (such as the SDoC declaration document) must be provided to the public as proof.

The SDoC policy simplifies the previously complex FCC certification requirements, replacing the existing FCC VoC and FCC DoC. It allows the use of electronic labeling, reduces cumbersome import declarations and requirements, and enables suppliers to independently choose whether to mark the fcc logo or not. Additionally, a compliance declaration document must be added to the equipment's accompanying documents. The compliance declaration shall include essential information such as the name, address, or contact website of the local U.S. supplier.

Product Categories Eligible for FCC SDoC Certification
