Since the official implementation of the European Union's General Product Safety RegULation (GPSR)on December 13, 2024, it has become mandatory to upload information about the european authorized representative (EU Rep), detailed manufacturer information, and compliant warning labels and documentation. The goal is to ensure that all products sold in the EU market meet safety standards and protect consumer rights.

GPSR General Label Requirements

According to GPSR requirements, all non-food consumer product labels must include the following information:

- Product Name: Identifies the type of product.

- Manufacturer Information: Includes the name and address.

- Country of Origin: e.g., "Made in China".

- EU Representative Information: Products sold in the EU must indicate the name and contact details of the eu authorized representative.

- Batch/Serial Number: Ensures product traceability.

- Warning Labels: Indicates product safety information and warnings.

- Multilingual Support: Provides safety information in the target language according to the country of sale.

- Necessary Compliance and Environmental Marks.

Special Category Labels

For product categories with specific requirements (e.g., electronics, cosmetics, toys, children's products, textiles, and apparel), in addition to the general label requirements, labels must also meet category-specific marking requirements in the target sales country, such as:

- ce marking

- IngREDient labeling for cosmetics

- Small parts warning for toys

- Age indications

Electronics and Electrical Products Label Requirements

1. Product name

2. Production batch number (product type, serial number, or other identifiers)

3. Country of origin (e.g., Made in China)

4. Product-related information: model, input/output voltage and current

5. EU Responsible Party (EU Rep) information: company name, address, and contact details

6. ce mark in the EU (according to certification marks)

7. Warning labels

8. EPR environmental mark (recycling label, etc.)

Battery-Powered Toys Label Requirements

1. Product name

2. Manufacturer name

3. Manufacturer address

4. Country of origin (e.g., Made in China)

5. EU Responsible Party (EU Rep) information: company name, address, and contact details

6. Production date

7. Production batch number (or product type, serial number, or other identifiers)

8. Age label (e.g., 6+, 3+)

9. Warning instructions

10. CE Marking

11. EPR environmental mark (recycling label, etc.)
