Vietnam CR Certification is a mandatory certification systemimplemented by the Vietnamese government for products sold in the Vietnamese market. It is supervised and regULatedby the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST)and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality (STAMEQ).
The purpose of CR certification is to ensure that products comply with Vietnamese national technical regulations (QCVN standards)regarding safety, quality, environmental protection,and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)throughout their design, production, and distribution processes.

1. Application Preparation
Prepare product technical documentsand test reports. Ensure the product complies with Vietnam’s standards for safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and radio frequency.
2. Selection of Certification Body
Choose an authorized certification organizationthat meets Vietnamese standards to carry out certification testing.
3. Testing and Review
After the product successfully passes the relevant local tests, the certification body will reviewthe results and issue the CR certificate.
4. Obtain the CR Mark
Once all requirements are met and the product passes testing, it will be granted the CR certification mark, allowing it to be legally sold in the Vietnamese market.
CR certification generally has a validity period of 1–3 years.
