A charger for laptops/mobile phones is a power supply unit for electronic devices, commonly referred to as an "AC adapter" or "charger". When the power adapter is plugged into a wall power outlet, it converts AC voltage to a single DC voltage. The power adapter serves as the external power source for laptops/mobile phones. Chargers for tablets and iPads are also included in this review scope.
A portable battery is a portable lithium-ion battery that can charge any devices such as smartphones or tablets (also known as a power bank).
Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act (PSE) of Japan
Specified Electrical Appliances and Materials (PSE)
1. A copy of the business notification form for manufacturing or importing electrical appliances and materials. The copy must bear the receipt stamp of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan and the type classification table; alternatively, relevant information about the manufacturing or importing of electrical appliances and materials registered on METI's "Safety Net" (including the type classification table)
2. Photos of the label (the pse mark, name of the notifying supplier, name of the registered conformity assessment body, rated voltage, etc. must be clearly displayed on the product)
3. Certificate of conformity (the document must be issued by a registered conformity assessment body and confirm the model corresponding to the rated nameplate values)
4. If the name of the notifying party on the label differs from the name in the business notification, please provide a certificate approved by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
5. Inspection records (all finished products must undergo testing)
For products with S Mark certification:
If your product has obtained S Mark certification, submission of the following documents is also valid:
