Scope of UL1647:

1. UL1647 applies to electric massagers and fitness equipment, including massage vibrators, exercise bikes, vibrating chairs, and massage chairs.

2. These requirements also apply to electric massagers and fitness equipment whose working parts are driven by electrical devices.

3. These requirements do not apply to appliances with a rated voltage higher than 250V.

4. If a product includes features, characteristics, components, materials, or systems not coveRED or differing from this safety standard, and these may cause fire, electric shock, or other hazards, additional tests for components and the complete product should be appropriately added according to the intent of this standard to ensure compliance.
