IT/AV power product manufacturers wishing to export to South Korea for kc certification, what do we need to do? Today, let me explain it to you step by step!
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) of South Korea implements and adopts the national unified KC logo, called the "KC Mark" logo. According to the South Korean Electrical Appliance Safety Management Law, electrical product safety certification has been divided into two types since January 1, 2009: electrical appliance safety certification and voluntary safety confirmation certification. KC is a mandatory certification in South Korea. Manufacturers, whether domestic or foreign, must obtain safety certification from South Korea before importing electronic products into the country.

According to South Korean safety regulations, after receiving the application, the factory needs to undergo an initial factory inspection. After certificate authorization, the certification body will conduct annual follow-up inspections of the factory every two years. The main purpose is to check the consistency of the factory's quality control system and whether it can continue to meet the standards of safety laws."
