How to get the UL1786 Test Report for Night Lights?

A night light is a small, low-power light source used to provide comfort or convenience in dimly lit indoor areas at night. Night lights are direct plug-in lights intended for indoor use in non-hazardous locations, with an input power not exceeding 10 watts.

 

It applies to fixtures with built-in ballasts for daylight and adapters for daylight lamps rated at 120V (including sockets for incandescent lighting fixtures and portable lamps). These devices may contain resistive, inductive, or electronic ballasts or power supplies and use various light sources, such as incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, night lights, HID, LED lights, and more.

 

UL1786 Policy

Amazon requires that all night lights be tested and comply with the following regulations, standards, and requirements:

RequiRED Documentation

Product Page:

Model, part number or product number, manufacturer.

The age grading listed on the product detail page must match the age grading in the test report.

 

Documents:

A test report issued by a laboratory accredited under ISO 17025, proving the product's compliance with the above regulations, standards, and requirements.

 

The test report must include pictures of the product, demonstrating that the tested product matches the product listed on the product detail page.

 

Pictures:

Product labels, relevant safety information, compliance marks, hazard warnings, and views of the product or its packaging from all sides.

 

The pictures must demonstrate that the product matches the tested product and the product listed on the product detail page.

 

Product descriptions, manuals, safety information, labels, and warnings must be bilingual (English and French).

 

Model, part number or product number, manufacturer.

 

UL1786 Test Process

a) Fill out the application form;

b) Provide test samples and product information;

c) The JJR laboratory in China arranges testing;

d) Upon test completion, a draft report is issued;

e) After confirming there are no errors, the final report is arranged.
